Then, x/10 = x + 20/ 14
14x = 10x + 200
4x = 200
x = 50 km.

Due to stoppages, it covers 9 km less.
Time taken to cover 9 km = 9/81 x 60 min
= 6.66 min.

Distance covered per hour = Relative speed × Time

= (5 + 4) × 1 = 9 km [opposite direction]

∴ Distance covered in 6 hours = 9 × 6 = 54 km.

Let speed of jake = x kmph.
So, speed of paul = ( x - 1.5 ) kmph.
Time difference =1.5hours
Total Distance = 10km
10/(x-1.5) -10/x = 1.5
By solving the above eq.
