TCS CodeVita Syllabus 2024

As we have discussed above TCS CodeVita, is a coding-centric competition, it only tests one's coding ability. This competition has three rounds and each round is more difficult than the previous one. The three rounds are

•  Pre-Qualifier Round
  • Round 1 Zone 1
  • Round 1 Zone 2
• Qualifier Round
• Final Round
• Grand Finale Ceremony

Each round is followed by an interview, you can proceed to the next round, only after you have cleared the interview. The interview is conducted on the basis of your previous round only, where they ask you questions based on the answers and techniques that you have used in the previous round. There is no surety that you will get qualified for the next round if you have solved all the questions, or will not be qualified for the next round if you have solved only 3 questions, it is solely based upon the programming techniques you are using and your interview.

There is no particular syllabus as defined by the TCS CodeVita Team, however, you can expect the coding problems from the following topics, in round 1:

• Greedy Algorithm
• Stack
• Queue
• Mapping Concepts
• Array manipulation
• String manipulation
• Tree
• Dynamic Programming
• BackTracking
• Graph

These 10 topics are the most important and most highly asked topics, but other than these there are a few other topics that you should study, these are- arrays, condition statements, operators, exception handling, frameworks, time complexity, space complexity, range of datatypes, etc.
