Answer - RPSQ
The passage here is about the urban Black population workers. So we start with sentence 1 and then use sentence R next. The reason is that in 1 we introduce the subject (noun) and then in R we address the subject as 'Some of them'. So we have a noun pronoun relation established here.
Next we use sentence P because the previous sentence R talked about some of them while P talks about the remaining of them. Hence we use P next. The next that comes in line is sentence S as it gives us more information about the nature of work that the more urbanized population of the workers as mentioned in P, would take up. Finally we have Q which talks about the wages in the South and then the last sentence completes the passage.
Passage - In the South, around 35% of the urban Black population worked in skilled trades. Some were from the ancient slave artisan class—blacksmiths, masons, and carpenters—who had a monopoly on specific skills but were being forced out by competition, mechanisation, and obsolescence. The remaining 65 percent, who had lately become more urbanised, worked in newly created industries such as tobacco, lumber, coal, and iron production, as well as railroads.Wages in the South, on the other hand, were low, and Black workers were aware that they could earn more even as unskilled employees in the North than they could as artisans in the South, thanks to labour recruiters and the Black press.
