If we have two tables A and B and if we do right outer join then all the common rows from both tables will be displayed then the remaining rows of table B.

Inner join is used to return rows from both the tables that match.

Right join is used to return all rows from the right table, even if there are no matches in the left table.

Cartesian join is used To return the Cartesian product of the sets of records from the two or more joined tables. The Cartesian join is used to generate a paired combination of each row of the first table with each row of the second table.

Join is used to retrieve rows from more than one table.

Out join is not a type of join in SQL

There are 6 types of join

1. Natural Join


2. Full Join


3. Inner Join


4. Right Join


5. Left Join


6. Cross Join

All the mentioned are types of joins in SQL.

If no join is mentioned then each row of first table is matched with each row of second table. This is also known as cross join or cartesian product.

Updatable join view contains multi-table in the FROM clause of the SELECT statement.
