Persistent has changed its hiring pattern for the 2023 batch of students. They have introduced the Super Achiever Test and the corresponding Drona Interview. On this page you will find all the details related to Persistent Drona Interview.
Persistent Recruitment Process
Persistent hires on both On-Campus as well as Off-Campus drives. The recruitment process of Persistent is divided into the following rounds.
What is the Persistent Super Achiever Test?
Persistent Super Achiever Test is an upgradation test, clearing which the candidate is eligible for the Persistent Drona Interview. Candidates who are selected for the 7.8 LPA package, can write the test.
After clearing the Persistent Drona interview, a candidate will be upgraded to the 9.3 LPA package.
Note:- As of now, Persistent has not shared any details regarding the content of the Super Achiever Test, but there are two possibilities for this test.
What is the Persistent Drona Interview?
On clearing the Persistent Super Achiever Test, candidates are shortlisted for the Persistent Drona Interview.
This round will be conducted by the senior members of the company and will constitute a mix of Technical, HR, and Managerial Questions. There can also be questions based on the training period of the candidate. The difficulty level of this round will be fairly high, as it is an upgradation round.

Persistent Drona Interview- Technical Interview Questions.
1. Briefly explain the approaches to develop algorithms.
Answer:-
There are three approaches to developing algorithms. these are:-
- Greedy approach
- Divide and Conquer
- Dynamic Programming
2. How do you reference all the elements in a one-dimension array?
Answer:-
All the elements in a one-dimensional array can be referenced using an indexed loop.
3. How does dynamic memory allocation help in managing data?
Answer:-
It helps to store simple structured data types and combines structured blocks that are separately allocated to form composite structures.
4. What is a postfix expression?
Answer:-
It is an expression that follows operands. Its advantage is that there is no need to group sub-expressions in parentheses to consider operator precedence.
5. What is LIFO?
Answer:-
LIFO or Last in First Out refers to how data is accessed, stored and retrieved. In LIFO, data that was stored last is extracted first.
6. What is a friend function?
Answer:-
Friend function is capable of accessing private/protected data of a class in which it is declared as a friend in spite of not being a member of that class.
7. What is an access specifier?
Answer:-
Access specifier hides or shows data to the end user. It is used in data abstraction.
8. Why does JAVA not support multiple inheritance?
Answer:-
Java is unable to handle the complexities such as the diamond problem that arose with multiple inheritance.
9. What is a software metric?
Answer:-
Software Metrics provide measures for various aspects of software processes and software products. These are divided into:-
- Requirement metrics
- Product metrics
10. What is software scope?
Answer:-
Software scope is a boundary that includes all of the tasks involved in developing and delivering the product.
Persistent Drona Interview - HR Interview Questions
1. Introduce yourself
Answer:-
The interviewer asks basic introduction of the candidate. It is one of the most important and very frequently asked HR interview question.
2. What are your strengths and weakness?
Answer:-
The interviewer wants to know about the candidate’s strengths and weaknesses. And how much they are aware of what are their strong points and where they can improve.
3. Are you comfortable with night shifts?
Answer:-
Its a common question asked in MNCs like Persistent where they are dealing with global clients. There can be various shifts and shift timings, and the candidates have to work accordingly.
4. Have you led any team efficiently?
Answer:-
Companies want candidates with a potential for leadership as these candidates perform better then others.
5. How do you manage your stress?
Answer:-
Candidates who are able to manage their stress and know when to take a break are more efficient and productive.
6. When was Persistent founded?
Answer:-

8. What do you know about Persistent?
Answer:-

Persistent has a service agreement which the candidate has to sign before joining the company.
10. Do you have any questions for me?
Answer:-
Interviewers close interviews by asking the candidates whether they have any questions or queries. It is always advisable to ask a few questions before the interview ends.
